The Nursing Mobile: A Rolling Cart for Breastfeeding

0

Welcome to the wonderful world of motherhood, where multitasking becomes second nature! If you’re a nursing mom, you know that organization is key to maintaining your sanity and making the most of those precious bonding moments with your little one.

I’ve put together the ultimate Nursing Mobile using a three-tier metal rolling cart packed with everything you need for a seamless nursing experience. Let’s dive into the magic of this mobile marvel!

Organizing a Nursing Mobile

Top Tier: Essential Supplies at Your Fingertips

The top tier of our Nursing Mobile is all about accessibility and convenience. Here’s what you’ll find . . .

Snacks, thermometer, and other supplies.

  • Snacks: Granola bars, candy, and small bags of chips. Keep your energy up with a variety of quick bites.
  • Hand Sanitizer: For clean hands before and after handling your baby or pump.
  • Breast Milk Storage Bags & Permanent Marker: Efficiently store and label your milk for future use.
  • Nipple/Breast Massager: Help with milk flow and ease discomfort with a gentle massage. My favorite is the Frida Mom Lactation Massager
  • Thermometer: Just in case you feel your baby could be hot and sick!
  • Prescription Nipple Cream: Essential for healing and protecting your delicate skin. You can get a prescription from your doctor.

Middle Tier: Comfort and Care Essentials

The middle tier is dedicated for an easy reach to your breast pumps and cleaning necessities.

Pumping supplies on the Nursing Mobile cart.

  • Breast Pump: Your trusty companion for those moments when you need to pump and store milk.
  • Breast Pump Wipes: Quick and easy cleanup for your pump parts, keeping things hygienic without the hassle.
  • Silicone Haakaa: This little wonder catches every drop of milk from the side you’re not nursing on – waste not, want not!
  • Heat/Ice Packs: Soothe sore breasts or relieve engorgement with these amazing packs. You can get these FREE from the hospital or any pharmacy.

Bottom Tier: Storage for Baby Bottles and Kleenex Box

Tissues, wipes, and other supplies on the bottom shelf of a Nursing Mobile.

  • Bottles: Ready and waiting to be filled with your liquid gold. Every ounce counts!
  • Kleenex: Because let’s face it, there will be spills, dribbles, and occasional tears (from you or the baby, we all know it)!
  • Water Wipes: For any spills that you may have or to wipe your hands off clean.

Additional Hanging Organizer on the Side

Supplies and burp cloths hanging on the side of a rolling cart.

  • Petroleum Jelly: Applied to the rim of the breast pump for a smoother, more comfortable pumping experience.
  • Nipple Pads: Keep your clothes dry and fresh, because leaks happen.
  • Burp Muslin Clothes: the soft fabric will make clean-up for your baby a breeze. You need the ones that hang, so it’s easy to grab if your baby is puking out milk!

To make this Nursing Mobile even more functional, we’ve added a pop-out garbage can. Mounted discreetly on the side, it’s perfect for tossing used wipes, snack wrappers, and any other small trash items. Just pop it out when you need it, and tuck it back in when you don’t. Keeping your space clean and clutter-free has never been easier! You can get them on Amazon, but my favorite is the one from Natural Life

Whether you’re in the nursery, living room, or bedroom, you can effortlessly roll your Nursing Mobile to wherever you need it. No more running around the house searching for supplies; everything you need is right there with you.

Here’s to making motherhood a little more organized, a lot more comfortable, and always full of love.
