My husband and I love a good date night, and we don’t do it nearly enough! For tonight’s date night, we’re headed out on our golf cart to Nexton Square. Check out our itinerary below, plus additional ideas to switch it up if you’d like!
Date Night Itinerary at Nexton Square
1. Wine and Cigars
First up, we are headed to King’s Leaf Cigars & Wine. This is the newest shop, and let me tell y’all — it is awesome! My husband and I usually start off our date nights here to grab a glass of wine. There is a wonderful selection of wines and cigars. They have a walk-in humidor, and a cozy lounge to relax in!
2. Dinner
Next up, we are headed to dinner. We love heading over to Fuji-Nexton for some delicious sushi! Fuji is laid back, so I never feel like I have to get super fancy to go to dinner. I love being able to grab a quiet booth with my guy and relax while we enjoy some yummy food. Every time we are here, we have a wonderful experience!
3. Dessert
Of course, I have a sweet tooth. After dinner, we will likely always be grabbing some dessert! We usually stop in to Ever Creamery!
Additional Nexton Square Activities
Now I know our date night is not everyone’s cup of tea, so I wanted to include some other great Nexton spots!
- If you’re a traditional date night couple, I highly recommend checking out Hall’s. This is a lot of people’s go-to date night spot. The restaurant is gorgeous and has a really nice vibe. We would go here way more often if it weren’t for my pickiness, but I do love grabbing a drink here before/after dinner!
- If you’re an active couple, check out the Pickle Bar! You can go here whether you plan to play pickleball or not — the food and drinks are SO good. They have live music some weekends, and this place is a great spot for a unique date night!
- If your date night is doing something productive (like grocery shopping), you could head over to Harris Teeter in Nexton! I know that sounds crazy, but hear me out . . . you can grab a beer/wine from the marketplace, and then get your grocery shopping on!
- If you like date nights during patio season, I say check out Taco Boy in Nexton Square! It is truly one of my favorite places, and the patio is top-notch!
No matter what type of date night you’re looking for, Nexton Square has it. PLUS there are tons of new spots constantly popping up!
