Julia Shaw was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. Collegiate athletics brought Julia to the Midwest where she competed in DII lacrosse. She completed her undergraduate degrees in marketing & sport management, and went on to receive her MBA while working in Division I college Athletic Development (fundraising, donor relations and event management). Julia and her husband Jimmie made the move to Charleston to be closer to family, and to take advantage of all that the Lowcountry has to offer. From amazing people, to a vibrant city scene, great food, rich history, and the outdoors, Julia is thrilled to be back on the East Coast and to raise her children Perry (2 years) and Paxton (10 months) near their cousins. She is excited to connect parents with local businesses who share her same passion for raising a family in such a fantastic community. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, watching and playing sports, trying new food, reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
